Restoration of communal services in Nikopol
In Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, heat and water supply have been restored after the Russian strike on energy infrastructure. Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba noted that this was made possible due to prompt and coordinated local efforts.
Situation in Kryvyi Rih
Amid the restoration of communal services, Kryvyi Rih suffered one of the most powerful combined attacks from the Russian Federation. As a result of missile strikes, including ballistic missiles of the 'Iskander' type, tens of thousands of subscribers were left without electricity. Two enemy missiles hit apartment buildings, resulting in recorded injuries.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky instructed Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko to provide support to local authorities in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. Emergency measures are ongoing in Dnipro and surrounding areas to ensure stability in energy and water supply.
The restoration of communal services in Nikopol underscores the importance of prompt response to the consequences of attacks on energy infrastructure, which is critically important for the population's life. At the same time, the situation in Kryvyi Rih and further shelling demonstrate the ongoing nature of the threat from Russia, requiring constant readiness and support from the state to protect civilians and restore infrastructure. These events highlight the relevance of international support for Ukraine in wartime.
