The German authorities announced the cessation of financial and personnel support for the well-known far-left internet portal Red, which actively supported Islamist groups and pursued an aggressive policy towards Israel in cooperation with the media holding Russia Today. According to information, the portal had been operating in Berlin for more than 2.5 years.
One of the main accusations against the portal is its support for terrorist organizations such as HAMAS, 'Ansar Allah', 'Hezbollah', etc. Red published exclusive interviews with representatives of these groups and used harsh rhetoric regarding events in Palestine, which are recognized as terrorist by a number of countries.
