The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake Officially Revealed
On November 5, Nintendo will launch a fully revamped edition of the iconic 1998 game The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for its handheld Switch 2 console. This remake celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Zelda franchise and features extensively updated environments, character models, textures, and lighting. Players will experience fully voice-acted cutscenes, expanded character dialogues, and a newly recorded orchestral soundtrack. Enhanced gameplay includes the ability to freely rotate the camera using the right analog stick, along with the addition of a jump mechanic for improved navigation.

Originally released on the Nintendo 64 in 1998, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time sold approximately 7.6 million copies worldwide. The remake retains the classic storyline, where players control Link as he journeys through the kingdom of Hyrule to defeat the villain Ganondorf. The digital version of the game will be priced at $59.99 (about 2700 UAH), while the standard physical edition will cost $69.99 (around 3200 UAH).
