New changes in the operation of trains on the Carpathian direction will lead to delays in the movement of passenger trains of the company 'Ukrzaliznytsia'. This occurred due to the derailment of empty wagons of a freight train in Rivne region. Therefore, trains No. 80 Lviv – Dnipro and No. 64 Lviv – Kharkiv will have to travel an alternate route through Ternopil with a delay of two hours. Passengers from the stations Dubno, Brody, Shepetivka, Slavuta will be picked up by Intercity train No. 744 Lviv – Kyiv, which will move through the damaged section after partial restoration within two hours.
«If you have a transfer to UZ trains due to the delay, please inform the conductor or steward so that our dispatchers can assist you. We apologize for the inconvenience, work is already underway, and we will keep you updated», - noted in 'Ukrzaliznytsia'.
Additional train services on other routes
The company 'Ukrzaliznytsia' has also introduced additional train services between Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, and Truskavets. In particular, trains No. 291/292 Kyiv – Lviv – Kyiv; No. 265/266 Kyiv – Odesa – Kyiv; No. 159/160 Kyiv – Truskavets; No. 168/167 Lviv – Odesa will be in operation.
It is also worth noting that the price of tea and coffee on 'Ukrzaliznytsia' trains will increase for the first time in six years. Currently, a cup of classic tea costs 10 UAH, but after the changes, this drink will cost 20 UAH.
