Invitation to the Awards Ceremony
All interested parties are invited by the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Ukraine to the awards ceremony for the 'Best Athlete of the Month' competition, scheduled for May 12, 2026. The event will honor the top athletes and coaches for March and April 2026. The ceremony will take place at the Olympic House, located in Kyiv.
Competition Winners
The list of laureates includes:
- Best male athlete for March 2026: Oleh Doroshchuk, world indoor champion in the high jump.
- Best young male athlete for March: Yaroslav Lavreniuk, world junior champion in two age categories (U20 and U23).
- Best female athlete for April 2026: Oksana Livach, European champion in freestyle wrestling (50 kg weight class).
- Best young female athlete for April: Alina Dmytruk, bronze medalist at the World Cadet Fencing Championships (épée).
In addition to recognizing athletes, the ceremony will also honor the best coaches of the month, along with sports organizations and federations.
