Today in Kyiv, the exciting second All-Ukrainian Forum on Gender Equality in Sports took place. Athletes, coaches, experts, and representatives of government bodies gathered here to discuss important issues regarding equal opportunities in sports. I spoke at this Forum as a speaker and was very happy about this opportunity.
During the discussions, we delved deeply into the topics of challenges and advantages of gender equality in sports management, discussed the role of government policy and institutional changes, and honored the strength of women in the world of sports. The winners of the 'Women in Sports' competition were also announced: Tamara Tokmachova in the 'Mentorship' category, Olena Kravatska in the 'Harmony of Success' category, and Ayuna Morozova in the 'Power of Support' category.
A big thank you to everyone who participated in these discussions, listened, and was inspired along with us. Special thanks to the head of the Committee of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine 'Women in Sports' Larysa Zaspa and the General Director of the Sport&Business Club Oleksii Braha for their collaboration in organizing this event.
Participation in the forum on gender equality in sports in Kyiv allowed us to discuss pressing issues of equality in the sports environment and to determine the winners of the 'Women in Sports' competition. Such events contribute to the popularization and implementation of the principles of equality and justice in the world of sports.
