On September 30, the Expert Commission of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine determined the laureates of the 'Best Athlete of the Month' competition, reports 'Glavcom'.
Alla Belinska, world champion in freestyle wrestling in the 72 kg weight category, was recognized as the best athlete of September. During the championship in Zagreb, she defeated a wrestler from Turkey in the finals, demonstrating skill and strength.
The Coach of the Month was Yuriy Dyachok, who prepared Alla Belinska for victory.
The laureates will receive prizes and awards from the NOC of Ukraine at the awards ceremony.
The Boxing Federation of Ukraine joined World Boxing
World Boxing confirmed the membership of the Boxing Federation of Ukraine, which recognizes the Ukrainian school of boxing and the achievements of its athletes.
'This decision opens up new opportunities for us to develop amateur boxing and participate in global competitions,' said the FBU.
World Boxing was founded in 2023 to conduct Olympic tournaments after the IOC deprived AIBA of the rights to hold them. A total of 125 countries are members of this global organization.
Alla Belinska became the best athlete of September, and Yuriy Dyachok is the best coach. The Boxing Federation of Ukraine joined World Boxing to participate in global competitions and promote Ukrainian boxing worldwide.
