Nova Poshta's U.S. Launch
Through a partnership with UPS, the Ukrainian logistics firm Nova Poshta has now launched its services in the United States. Customers can use the service to send documents and parcels weighing up to 30 kilograms to Ukraine. For drop-off, Nova Poshta is utilizing the extensive UPS Store network, with over 6,000 locations available across the country.
Delivery Speed and Scope
The standard transatlantic delivery option promises delivery to Ukraine in seven days or more, providing a fast and convenient service for the Ukrainian diaspora in the U.S. The United States is the 17th country where Nova Poshta has established a presence. For context, its state-owned competitor, Ukrposhta, already delivers to over 230 countries and territories worldwide.
Company representatives have indicated plans to open franchise locations in major U.S. cities, which could further expand delivery options for customers.
This expansion into the American market highlights the growing demand for international logistics services within the Ukrainian community abroad. The collaboration with UPS grants Nova Poshta immediate access to a vast drop-off network, potentially boosting its competitiveness against the well-established Ukrposhta. Furthermore, this move may help drive the adoption of higher service and delivery speed standards within Ukraine's domestic logistics sector.
