New Tactics of the Russian Federation: Killer Drones Combined in a Network for Attacks on Critical Infrastructure

Нові методи Росії: дрони-камікадзе, з'єднані у мережу для ударів по важливим об'єктам

New Tactics of Strike Drones

The Russian occupying forces are implementing a new tactic for strike drones by combining them into an autonomous network using Chinese modems. This technology allows them to control drones in real-time and strike critical infrastructure targets, causing concern among experts. According to expert Sergey Beskrestnov, known as Sergey 'Flash', this system creates a coordinated network of drones that can adapt to changes in combat conditions.

Application of Drones

Russian troops are using drones such as 'Shahed' and 'Gerbera', equipping them with Mesh modems for data exchange. This allows the drones to effectively interact with each other, making them significantly more dangerous for the enemy. The new tactics also include hunting down railway locomotives, which, according to 'Flash', makes them vulnerable.

“When 'Shahed' comes from behind the locomotive, the locomotive has nowhere to go.” - Sergey 'Flash'

In addition, Russian troops are actively using drones to attack energy facilities. Sergey 'Flash' emphasized that this technology is very dangerous and raises alarm. He noted: “Now the entire concept of life for MVG troops has radically changed.”

This new strategy of the Russian military presents new challenges for air defense systems, as the network of drones can quickly adapt and respond to the enemy's actions. Thus, the application of 'swarm' technology in combat operations becomes a serious threat that must be taken into account.

The implementation of new drone technologies into the arsenal of Russian troops indicates the evolution of modern warfare and the adaptation of military tactics to new conditions. Given the growing danger to critical infrastructure, it is important for countries facing similar threats to strengthen their air defense systems and develop new strategies to counter such innovative methods of warfare.
