A combat drone of enemy origin was discovered shot down in the Sumy region, equipped with anti-tank mines. According to regional police information, there were casings with PTM-3 mines under the wings of the drone.

It is assumed that such a method may be used by the Russians for mining roads and agricultural lands. PTM-3 mines have a plastic casing and a magnetic detonator that reacts to surrounding machinery.

Police caution

The police urge citizens to be cautious, especially those who use machinery in fields or travel along rural roads with limited visibility due to high grass vegetation.

In case of accidental discovery of a mine or drone, one should immediately stop, retreat to a safe distance, and call the police hotline 102. This also applies to found enemy drones that did not explode upon falling, as they may contain booby traps or sensors that could trigger an explosion.
