Ukraine to Seal 150 km Border Zone Within a Month as New FPV Drones Hit the Frontline

В Україні протягом місяця планують укріпити 150-кілометрову зону на кордоні, оскільки нові літаючі дрони виходять на передову.

Advanced FPV Drones Arrive on the Battlefield

Military expert Serhii Beskrestnov, known by the call sign Flash, has confirmed that new types of FPV drones have completed testing and are now being deployed to the front lines. He predicts that within the next one to two months, Ukrainian forces will establish a 100–150 km wide strike zone near the border, using short-range attack UAVs. This area holds a high concentration of strategically important targets for Russia.

Forecasts and the Impact of Emerging Technologies

In a post on his Telegram channel 'Serhii FLASH | About Technologies', Beskrestnov stated that the introduction of these drones will inflict significant losses on the enemy. He emphasized:

“Finally, in a month or two, we will close the 100–150 km zone from the border with short-range attack UAVs. All the juiciest targets are there.” — Serhii Beskrestnov

The expert also predicted a rise in long-range drone strikes on enemy territory: “The enemy is in for pain. Yes, there will be more and more long-range UAV strikes. Yes, there will be more surprises.”

Beskrestnov further highlighted the work of a new team within the Ministry of Defense, which is focused on innovation and logistics. This team is expected to significantly boost the effectiveness of Ukrainian military operations.

The expanded use of these new drones could dramatically shift the military balance in the region. By concentrating firepower within the 100–150 km border zone, Ukraine will be better positioned to counter aggression. Equally important is the role of the Ministry of Defense’s innovation team, which is tasked with driving technological improvements for Ukrainian troops. The adoption of advanced systems like FPV drones may fundamentally alter the course of combat in the near future.

As Ukraine prepares to establish a strike zone near the border, the capabilities of next-generation FPV drones become increasingly significant. These advanced drones, capable of striking targets at a distance of 25 km even under electronic warfare conditions, are set to enhance the effectiveness of Ukrainian military operations. The integration of such technology could play a crucial role in the upcoming military strategies.
