Starting January 1, 2026, a new property insurance mechanism against military risks will be implemented in Ukraine. It includes direct compensation for losses for enterprises in combat zones and partial reimbursement of insurance premiums for businesses across the country. This program will be another important component of the policy to develop producers 'Made in Ukraine'. It will be implemented by the Export Credit Agency - ECA.
Entrepreneurs can already contact the ECA for consultations. Requests for obtaining the document package and clarifying details are accepted at info@eca.gov.ua.
“We are launching a mechanism that will provide businesses with a clear and predictable model of action: to insure property by participating in the program - and have a guarantee of compensation if the enterprise suffers damage. We invite all interested entrepreneurs to contact the ECA for consultation to join the program starting January 1,” emphasized the Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine Andrii Teliupa.
The new military risk insurance mechanism, which will start at the beginning of next year, provides for compensation for losses to enterprises in combat zones and will promote the development of Ukrainian producers.
