European railways are expanding their network of international routes - starting April 15, 2026, a new night train EuroNight will operate between Switzerland and Sweden. The train will connect Basel and Malmo, becoming a convenient travel option for Ukrainians living or traveling in Europe. This is reported by Visit Ukraine.
The route of the new train will pass through four countries: Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden. It will be a night journey lasting about 16 hours, covering over 1100 kilometers of picturesque European landscapes.
Main Route Stops
The train will stop at key cities and transport hubs:
Freiburg, Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Frankfurt (Main) South;
Hamburg, Padborg, Kolding, Odense, Hoje-Tastrup;
Copenhagen airport.
Thus, passengers will be able to plan convenient stops during their journey and easily transfer to other European destinations.
