Forum on Social Facilitation in Ukraine
A national forum titled "From Practice to System: Models of Social Facilitation in Ukraine" was held with the participation of Tetiana Kyriienko, Deputy Minister of Social Policy, Family, and Unity of Ukraine. Discussions focused on developing modern approaches to social support, with particular emphasis on strengthening the role of social workers in communities and enhancing collaboration among local communities, volunteer organizations, and international partners. This is critical for identifying individuals in need of assistance, including internally displaced persons (IDPs), elderly people living alone, and persons with disabilities.
"A social worker is the bridge between someone in need of support and the system designed to provide it. I sincerely thank you for your daily dedication and humanity. Indeed, it is through synergy and close cooperation with communities, government bodies, international partners, and volunteer organizations that we can achieve real change in the social support system."

The Importance of Collective Effort
In this way, the forum served as a platform for discussing key aspects of social support, underscoring the need to improve the system of interaction among the various stakeholders involved in providing assistance to society.
The forum highlights the importance of collective effort in the field of social work, particularly in light of the challenges faced by vulnerable groups in Ukraine. Engaging social workers and building effective partnerships between different organizations can significantly improve access to essential help for those who need it. Successful implementation of the models discussed could lay the groundwork for further reforms in social policy.
