Stabbing Incident Shakes Jarosław Monastery
On September 24, a 31-year-old Ukrainian man carried out a knife attack at the Benedictine Sisters' monastery in the Polish city of Jarosław. The assault resulted in the death of a priest and left four other individuals wounded. She confirmed that one victim has died and that two others are receiving intensive medical care in Jarosław, both in life-threatening conditions.
President Zelensky extended his deepest sympathies to the family of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery for those injured, stating:
