Zelensky held talks with the leaders of Britain, Estonia, and Denmark: what was agreed

Meetings of Zelensky with leaders of other countries


President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky had phone conversations with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Estonian Prime Minister Kysten Mihal. This was reported by Zelensky himself on his Telegram channel.


“However, we see the necessity of a truly stable peace for Ukraine and the threat of the Russian plan to reduce everything to discussions about the impossible,” emphasized the leader of Ukraine.

Zelensky also noted that clear steps and maximum coordination with partners are needed to conclude the war. He thanked for the support and appreciated the willingness of countries to end the conflict.


Additionally, the President of Ukraine talked about his conversation with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. They discussed the diplomatic situation and work towards Ukraine's accession to the European Union.


“All our steps should lead to a real conclusion of the war, not its reconfiguration. And our joint decisions should work for common security,” stressed Zelensky.

It was also noted that there was a conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron. They discussed the diplomatic situation and plans to work towards a real peace for Ukraine and other European nations.



During the phone conversations, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with the leaders of other countries important issues regarding the achievement of stable peace in Ukraine and its accession to the European Union. He also emphasized the importance of clear steps and joint coordination with partners to conclude the conflict.
