Today at the DIGITAL DEFENCE FORUM, digital products, systems, and services were presented that help the Ukrainian army to be flexible and effective. They talked about the development of Army+ and the implementation of the digital ID in Reserve+ as the main military accounting document.
Digitalization is a key tool for ensuring the efficiency of the Armed Forces on the battlefield. Among the main directions of digitalization are data-driven decision-making, effective feedback, and network-centricity.
- Improving the accounting of military personnel. The accounting system 'Impulse' has replaced paper journals, simplifying data handling and providing quick access to necessary information.
- Electronic TCC. The Reserve+ application is already used by 6 million Ukrainians and will soon become the main tool for obtaining military accounting information online.
- A service ecosystem for military personnel. The Army+ application is used by over a million soldiers, where they can receive training, make transfers, and access discounts from business partners.
Important directions of defense digitalization
Defense digitalization primarily includes 8 directions:
- The task of accounting for defense resources through the implementation of SAP for the operational support of military forces.
- Development of infrastructure and combat services for collecting data from the battlefield and improving the efficiency of military units.
Digital technologies in Ukrainian defense are actively developing, aimed at improving the activities of the army and providing military personnel with the necessary tools.
