Mandatory evacuation in six regions: how many children remain in the frontline areas

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Alexey Sergeev reported on the mandatory evacuation that is ongoing in Donetsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.


In different regions, different numbers of people remain to be evacuated. For example, in Donetsk region, 424 children still need to be evacuated, in Kharkiv – 243, in Dnipropetrovsk – 26, in Zaporizhzhia – 11.



Assistance and safety


Special police and rescue groups have been created for the evacuation, including 24 groups of the National Police “White Angel”. In addition to evacuation, law enforcement provides first aid and transports injured and sick citizens to hospitals. The experience of Donetsk evacuation groups has been spread to other regions.


The activities of evacuation units are taking place in conditions of increased danger. Recently, six shellings of police evacuation groups have been recorded, which indicates the difficult working conditions.



The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announced a mandatory evacuation from frontline regions of several oblasts. Special police and rescue groups that operate in conditions of heightened danger are involved in this operation, ensuring the safety of citizens and providing them with assistance in extreme situations.
