Shelling of Poltava Region: delays of several trains due to power outages

As a result of the night shelling of the Poltava region and the temporary power outages in several sections of the region, it was necessary to use reserve locomotives. Because of this, several passenger trains had to be delayed. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referencing 'Ukrzaliznytsia'.


Delayed trains:



  • No. 102 Kherson – Kramatorsk,

  • No. 63/111 Kharkiv, Izyum – Lviv,

  • No. 64/112 Lviv – Kharkiv, Izyum,

  • No. 791 Kremenchuk – Kyiv.


As of 07:00, the damage has been repaired, and the electricity has been restored – trains (including suburban electric trains) will continue to operate without further obstacles.


Recall that as a result of the night shelling of the railway infrastructure by Russian troops, some trains had to wait a long time. However, railway workers are actively working to restore traffic, and passengers are receiving the necessary support.


In the Poltava region, a Russian drone hit a gas station. The consequences and photos from the shelling site were published by the State Emergency Service.



After the night shelling and power outages in several sections of the Poltava region, reserve locomotives were used and several trains were delayed. Then the emergency damage was fixed, and train traffic was restored without hindrance. Despite the temporary inconveniences, railway workers are working to restore normal traffic.
