The Russian army continues daily shelling of the border areas of Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv, using various weapons from artillery to drones.

According to the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, the occupiers are shelling both the positions of Ukrainian military and civilian settlements, using artillery, mortars, aerial missiles, and drones.

In Sumy, border guards are recording attempts by small diversionary-reconnaissance groups of the enemy to penetrate the area, which are promptly destroyed by defense forces.

At the same time, in Kharkiv region, the enemy is active in the areas of Vovchansk and Stroiivka, but cannot advance, as Demchenko emphasized.

Ukrainian military also monitor the situation regarding the Russian-Belarusian exercises 'Zapad-2025'.

We constantly monitor the situation at the border with Belarus. At the moment, no invasion threat has been recorded, but military presence there is maintained, - emphasized the spokesman of the border service.

He also noted that due to these exercises, the risk for Ukraine may increase, especially during the active phase in September.

Ukrainian border guards have recorded continued shelling from Russian occupiers at the border with the regions in Ukraine. Attempts by small diversionary-reconnaissance groups of Ukrainian border guards to penetrate have continued, but they have managed to effectively defend their positions. Ukrainian military also closely monitor the situation around the Russian-Belarusian exercises, emphasizing that the threat to the country may increase in the future.
