Digitizing Ukraine's Work History Records
A representative of Ukraine's Pension Fund (PFC), Oleksandr Maletskyi, has clarified that the June 10, 2026, deadline for converting paper work record books to digital format will not negatively impact pension applications. According to the information, the register of insured individuals has been accumulating data since the year 2000. Over 10 million work record books have already been successfully digitized, demonstrating significant progress in this initiative. Maletskyi also noted that
"today we are already in the 25th or 26th year of this registry, so in principle it can be taken, it can be used, and it will be legal"- meaning that data for the last 25-26 years is available in the electronic register and is considered valid.

The acceptance of documents for digitization will not cease after June 10, 2026. This will allow anyone who, for various reasons, has not yet submitted their work record book for conversion to do so in a timely manner. Maletskyi assured that
"if someone, for one reason or another, has not submitted it - it is not a catastrophe."
