The situation with electricity in Odesa is stabilizing: how the power outage schedules have changed

Ситуація з електропостачанням в Одесі покращується: нові графіки відключень електрики.

The situation with electricity and water supply in Odesa region is gradually stabilizing, although hourly blackouts are still occurring. This information was shared by Sergei Sizonенко, a deputy of the Odesa Regional Council, emphasizing that compared to the previous week, the situation has significantly improved. There are schedules for blackouts, but overall, electricity is being supplied according to them, which is already a positive aspect.

However, unfortunately, there is another side to the story. On the night of December 13, Russian forces launched a powerful strike on the energy infrastructure of Odesa region. Most of the area was left without electricity, communication, and internet due to the attack on port, transport, and industrial infrastructure. However, civilian casualties were avoided, but some important infrastructure was destroyed.

Later, another deadly attack and electricity supply problems were recorded in Mykolaiv. Russian forces struck the port in Odesa, claiming the lives of eight people and wounding dozens more. There were also drone attacks in Mykolaiv, which caused a fire in an automobile garage cooperative, which was managed to be extinguished quickly.
