The Italian Gymnastics Federation has introduced the new mentor of its main star, Sofia Raffaeli - Russian specialist Amina Zaripova. This means that Ukrainian gymnastics continues to collaborate with Russian coaches.
Zaripova previously worked with Russian champions and will now begin coaching Ukrainian gymnast Taisia Onofriychuk. This happened due to the transfer of another coach, Claudia Mancini, to another position.
Intensive training and new exercises
Sofia Raffaeli shared her impressions of working with Amina Zaripova: 'We have already started intensive work. Right away, I felt the great contact, we are developing new exercises, I am interested in showing results. Amina is a very talented coach, I am confident in her significant contribution to the development of gymnastics.' Choreographer Irina Zenovka, who previously worked with other Russian gymnasts, is also involved in the process.
Greetings from the president of the federation
The president of the federation, Andrea Facci, thanked Zaripova: 'We were looking for people who bring bonus value. Amina is exactly that person. Zaripova is a well-known name in the sport, she has worked in Russia and China, and we are happy to welcome her to our community, hoping for new achievements.'
Recently, Zaripova worked with the Chinese national team, helping them win medals at international competitions.
