Russian troops again launched an attack on the railway infrastructure in Dnipropetrovsk region at night. As a result, the station in Pavlohrad, the tracks, and the contact network were damaged. This was reported by the information resource «Hlavkom» citing a statement from «Ukrzaliznytsia».

Fortunately, no passengers or railway workers were injured; everyone was evacuated in time. For safety and quick damage repairs, «in the morning, several suburban trains will change their routes», they reported in an official statement.

Table of changed train routes:

  • No. 6272 - Varvarivka - Lozova (instead of Synelnykove-1 - Lozova).

  • No. 6277 - Lozova - Varvarivka (instead of Lozova - Dnipro).

  • No. 7010 - Kamenske - Orlovshchyna (instead of Kamenske - Kramatorsk).

  • No. 6536 - Zaporizhzhia-2 - Synelnykove-1 (instead of Zaporizhzhia-2 - Lozova).

In response to criticism regarding ticket issues for popular destinations, «Ukrzaliznytsia» plans to amend the purchasing rules. From August 1, mandatory verification through the «Diia.Signature» service is planned for specific trains.

It should be noted that currently many Ukrainians are experiencing difficulties in purchasing train tickets. «Ukrzaliznytsia» explained the reasons for this and provided guidelines regarding the ticket purchasing procedure. Moreover, passenger checks at train boarding will be stricter.

On the night of July 30, the Russian occupation army also carried out a drone attack on Kharkiv.

After the new attack by Russian troops on the railway in Ukraine, «Ukrzaliznytsia» is making changes to the train schedule to ensure passenger safety and quick damage repairs. The company also plans to introduce mandatory verification through the «Diia.Signature» service for certain trains to improve the ticket purchasing process.
