The National Resistance Center reported that Russians are imitating a tourist season in the temporarily occupied territories. According to them, Russian invaders have destroyed the tourism sector in these areas and are now attempting to falsely restore it. The occupants are pushing budget workers from Russia into empty sanatoriums in the occupied cities of Ukraine. In reality, these same resorts are used as a location for the deployment of militants, using people as human shields. This not only threatens freedom but also poses a serious threat to the economy and security.

Administrations of the occupied territories are also selling 'weekend tours' to Berdiansk and Kyrylivka, using this as a cover for relocating people from Russia to the captured resorts. Additionally, children from Eastern Ukraine have begun to be brought into the region, where resorts are being used for propaganda and attempts to integrate into a totalitarian society.

Russian occupying administrations actively encourage Russian citizens to relocate to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, promising benefits and resort infrastructure. Furthermore, there are plans to organize rehabilitation for 56 thousand Ukrainian children in the occupied 'Artek' camp in 2026.

Ukrainian captured territories are becoming arenas for manipulation and disinformation by Russian occupiers once again. Instead of peaceful tourism in these areas, sad plans are unfolding to involve the population, including children, in Russian propaganda and control. Active work by local and international organizations is necessary to prevent such manipulations and protect citizens from the dangers posed by Russian occupation.
