Russian troops are trying to break into the city of Pokrovsk, using the tactics of small assault groups and mass drone attacks to block Ukrainian logistics routes.

Liana Kononchuk, commander of the crew of the BPSH 'Shershni Dovbusha' of the 68th separate rifle brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush, reported that Russian troops are now trying to advance in small assault groups and are hiding in houses, shelters, and basements, waiting for reinforcements.

'In both last year in the autumn and this year, they are using weather conditions. They try to move when we see them the least — in rain, fog,' Kononchuk stated, emphasizing that Russian occupiers are wearing civilian clothes to violate international norms of warfare.

The intensity of shelling in the direction of Pokrovsk has significantly increased. Ukrainian units are suffering losses while covering large distances to reach positions due to the destruction of remote-controlled devices by the enemy. Last month, Liana Kononchuk's crew was under drone fire but managed to avoid tragedy. She warned that opponents are using advanced technologies for their attacks, complicating the situation for Ukrainian forces.
