Today, September 3, Russian occupiers launched an attack on the city of Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region. As a result of the shelling, there were numerous casualties and injuries. This was reported by Hlavkom referencing the National Police of Ukraine.
According to the police, Russian forces used drones and artillery during the attack.
As a result of artillery shelling, three women and five men were killed. Six people sustained varying degrees of injuries.
Additionally, Russia hit two civilian cars with drones - one person was killed, and another injured. The victims were taken to medical facilities.
Damage from the shelling
The head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Serhiy Horbunov, reported that as a result of the shelling, two high-rise buildings, a private house, a store, a shopping center, and five trading pavilions were damaged.
It is worth noting that the Russian army carried out an eight-rocket attack on the city of Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region using the 'Smerch' multiple rocket launch system. The occupiers deliberately attacked the local market, resulting in damage to 15 trading pavilions, eight private homes, six high-rise buildings, a store, two cars, and a power line.
During the shelling of Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region, Russian occupiers struck the peaceful population, leading to tragic consequences. Significant destruction occurred, with injuries and fatalities among the civilian population.
