Fighting continues in the Novopavlivka direction. The enemy is trying to break through the border between Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions and hold their position there. This was stated by the head of the operations department of the 5th separate heavy mechanized brigade, Bohdan Moroz.
The opponent constantly changes tactics, but the main goal remains unchanged - to break through the border between the regions. Enemy forces are using assault groups and conducting reconnaissance of defensive lines, looking for weak points to attack. According to Moroz, the enemy's command shows complete carelessness towards its servicemen.
'Their fighters are taken prisoner. They carry cards with instructions on how to kill themselves to avoid capture. And they adhere to these instructions - many commit suicide, believing that they will be treated cruelly,' Moroz explained.
In the conflict zone in the Novopavlivka direction, fighting continues, the opponent does not lose attempts to reach the administrative boundary between the regions and hold their position there, however, Ukrainian troops are trying to repel any attacks.
