Russian occupiers attacked critical infrastructure in the Donetsk region
On the evening of October 4, Russian occupiers attacked the Donetsk region, affecting critical infrastructure. This was reported by the head of the Donetsk OVA, Vadim Filashkin, as conveyed by 'Glavkom'.
According to the OVA, enemy forces fired on energy facilities in Donetsk, which resulted in power outages in some areas. Among the cities currently without electricity are Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, and certain districts of Kramatorsk.
«Authorities and responsible services remain on site and continue to work. As soon as the situation allows from a security perspective, specialists will promptly restore electricity supply», - the message states.

As a result of the Russian attack on the energy facility in Slavutych, the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant experienced a blackout. An emergency situation occurred at the plant: due to voltage surges, only thanks to the electricity supply of the new safe confinement, which isolates the fourth power unit and prevents the release of radioactive materials.
Let us remind you that on October 1, Slavutych also suffered from enemy attacks. Due to a drone strike on the energy facility, the city was left without electricity - approximately 20 thousand local residents were left without power. Fortunately, there were no casualties among the residents.
