In Chernihiv, Russian troops struck a critical infrastructure facility, leaving over 29 thousand residents of the city and Chernihiv region without power. This attack occurred after 14:00 on September 25.

Head of the Chernihiv Military City Administration Dmytro Bryzhynskyi reported that a fire broke out at the strike site, which firefighters are already extinguishing. 'Fortunately, there are no casualties among residents,' Bryzhynskyi emphasized.

Workers of PJSC 'Chernihivoblenergo' have begun restoration work. According to their data, the extent of damage and the scope of work are still being clarified.

Water supply issues due to lack of electricity

In areas without electricity, there is a noticeable decrease in pressure in water supply networks. KP 'Chernihivvodokanal' recommends that residents stock up on drinking water. Pressure in the networks is expected to improve after the restoration of electricity supply.

During the attack, residents were advised to stay in safe places.
