The singer emphasized that Nika Bilocerkivska has been living in France for over 20 years. Polyakova mentioned that the public figure welcomed her and her two daughters when the full-scale war in Ukraine began. The artist thanked her friend and France for temporary shelter.
Olya Polyakova stressed that Bilocerkivska is a former citizen of Russia. During the full-scale war, the singer assured, Nika as a volunteer collected and delivered aid worth over seven million euros. For this, she was sentenced to nine years in prison in Russia.
"Now she only needs a travel document, but she has been waiting for it for over two years without the ability to leave France. Her uncle, who raised her, is now dying in Ukraine, but bureaucracy prevents her from coming to help him! I appeal to you to assist with this issue and finally provide the travel document so that she can come to Odessa," the Ukrainian singer addressed the President of France in French and Ukrainian.
