After his recovery, he transitioned to a civilian role as the lead legal specialist at the Main Department of the State Migration Service of Ukraine in the Odessa region. Since 2021, Alexander has been supported by his partner, Alyona, whose encouragement has been vital during challenging times.

I simply aimed to perform my duties faithfully and remain a good person no matter the circumstances.”
