Shake-Up in the Pound-for-Pound Rankings

Japan's Naoya Inoue has taken over the top spot in The Ring magazine's pound-for-pound rankings, pushing former leader Oleksandr Usyk down to second place. Usyk, who holds the WBC, WBA, and IBF heavyweight titles, had been at the summit since December 2025. Inoue, the undisputed world champion in the junior featherweight division, climbed to number one following his victory over Junto Nakatani.

The updated P4P list from The Ring also features several other notable fighters. Among them are Shakur Stevenson at third, Jesse Rodriguez at fourth, and David Benavidez, who jumped to fifth after his knockout win over Gilberto Ramirez on May 3.
