Oleksiy Serhiyiev, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, visited the Odesa region to assess the consequences of enemy strikes. During the visit, he checked the condition of civilian infrastructure facilities damaged by Russian attacks.
During the visit, he also highlighted the security situation in the region and assessed the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs units involved in eliminating the consequences of shelling. Special attention was paid to the protection of the civilian population, the possibility of evacuation, food supply, and coordination between services for rapid response to the escalation of the situation.
As a result of the visit, it was confirmed that the civil defense authorities are adequately prepared and capable of acting effectively in conditions of threat. Such inspections help increase readiness to act in emergencies, which is extremely important for protecting the peaceful population from enemy attacks.
