Due to a severe blizzard, the competition format for freestyle skiing aerials has been modified: qualification will remain a two-jump event, but the final will now consist of two jumps instead of three. These adjustments have impacted athlete preparation, as they will now compete for medals under challenging weather conditions. Weather disruptions are not uncommon at the Winter Games, testing the flexibility of both organizers and competitors.

The 2026 Olympic Games promise to be packed with action, where Ukrainian athletes will have the opportunity to showcase their skills under a revised competition format.

The blizzard, which has affected the event schedule, may pose an additional challenge for the athletes. This underscores the importance of adaptability and readiness for unforeseen circumstances during major international competitions.
