Online Battle Map: How to Track the Situation on the Front in Real Time

The "Glavcom" website published an overview of the best online battle maps in Ukraine that will help better understand the situation on the front. These maps allow tracking the directions of fighting and the liberation of territories by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Deep State Map Battle Map




Map Symbols on the Deep State Map:



  • blue: territory liberated in the last two weeks

  • green: liberated territory

  • gray: territory needing clarification

  • red: territory occupied by Russians

  • dark red: territory of Crimea and ORDLO

  • light red: occupied territories of other states



The map also indicates railways, units, headquarters, airfields, and directions of enemy attacks.

  • red: territory occupied by Russians

  • blue: territory liberated from Russians



On the Liveuamap, important enemy military objects and military-political events in Ukraine and beyond are also marked.



ISW Battle Map (Institute for the Study of War)




The Institute for the Study of War constantly updates its battle map by analyzing events of the Russo-Ukrainian War.

  • black: occupied Crimea and ORDLO

  • red: occupied territories during the full-scale war

  • red dashed: lands captured by the occupiers in the last 24 hours

  • blue dashed: liberated lands in the last 24 hours

  • light blue dashed: counteroffensive and resistance from Ukraine
