Taisiya Onofriychuk collected four awards at the World Challenge Cup stage in Cluj-Napoca (Romania), reports 'Glavkom'. The 17-year-old leader of the Ukrainian team became the holder of two gold and two silver medals.
Taisiya won gold in ribbon and ball routines, as well as silver in ball exercises and individual all-around. The article also notes that Ukraine placed 10th in the overall medal standings of the European Youth Olympic Festival.
The most successful performance in the history of the Festivals was demonstrated by Ukrainian athletes at the current competition. Ukraine won the highest number of medals in judo, and also impressed with success in various other sports.
