The 'Clean City' operation continues to reveal corruption schemes in the capital's authorities. NABU reported new suspicions in the case of land acquisition and evasion of budget payments. A former high-ranking official of the city administration and his accomplices, including a deputy, are accused of attempting to acquire valuable land plots in Kyiv.
The investigation showed that the fraudsters used proxies to obtain land plots, which harmed the community by creating primitive buildings and using bribes to conceal their actions.
As a result of the case, more than nine suspects have been detained, and one person has already been convicted. The damage to the city exceeds 19.5 million hryvnias, and the investigation continues to clarify all episodes of corruption.

It should be noted that according to the Constitution of Ukraine, any person is presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court in a lawful manner.
