UN General Assembly adopts resolution on Palestine: main news September 12

The United Nations General Assembly has adopted a resolution to establish a Palestinian state. This step is aimed at resolving the conflict between Israel and Palestine through specific and time-bound measures. The resolution was supported by 142 countries, affirming the New York Declaration, which calls on Hamas to release hostages and condemns its terrorist actions.



NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced the launch of the 'Eastern Guardian' operation aimed at strengthening the Alliance's positions on the eastern front. Allied resources and new technologies, including drones, will participate in these exercises. The operation's goal is to enhance NATO's flexibility and strength in the east.



President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky introduced a new national holiday - the Day of Electronic Warfare Troops, which will be celebrated annually on September 12. This festive date is intended to honor the military responsible for the effective use of electronic warfare devices.



In the village of Kopystyrin in Vinnytsia region, farewell ceremonies were held for two schoolboys - Mykola_BYLYK and Vladislav_BEZVY, who were allegedly killed by a former teacher. Many people attended the funeral, including locals and schoolmates.



Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban claims that the appearance of Russian drones in Polish airspace was expected. He supports his Polish friends in this situation and believes that Hungary must respond clearly to violations of Poland's sovereignty.



The adoption of the resolution to establish a Palestinian state and other events around the world indicate a search for solutions to international conflicts and strengthening defense capabilities in the region, which are relevant issues in the modern world. The new national holiday in Ukraine and the support of partners also reflect the strengthening of important partnerships and the support of fallen soldiers, which are significant expressions of memory and support for military units.
