Some educational services in Ukraine will become paid, reports 'Hvylya' citing the permanent representative of the Cabinet in the Rada, Taras Melnychuk.
According to the updated list, state and municipal educational institutions will have the opportunity to provide a number of paid services in the fields of education, science, rehabilitation, and adaptation. This includes teaching additional subjects that are not included in the basic curriculum, as well as other additional opportunities: assessment of professional competencies, recognition of informal learning, organization of qualification testing, and supervision of children during extracurricular time.
- conducting additional classes that are not included in the basic curriculum;
- assessment of professional competencies;
- recognition of informal and non-formal learning;
- conducting knowledge assessment events for individuals who have studied in foreign educational institutions;
- the presence of children in groups in the morning, evening, or holiday time beyond the free hours provided by law.
The reason for this decision was the need to adapt educational services to current conditions, the growing interest in various forms of education, and the official regulation of services that had already been unofficially provided in many cases.
We remind you that the Pension Fund of Ukraine is appealing the court decision that canceled assistance payments for children aged 16 to 18 years.
The Ukrainian government has approved a list of paid educational services that state and municipal institutions can now provide. This is an important step towards adapting education to modern requirements, as well as for the official regulation of services that were already popular. Expanding the opportunities of educational institutions may stimulate the development of various forms of education and provide more opportunities for students in the future.
