The educational exhibition 'Mental Trek' in Lviv region impressed a large audience, which included schoolchildren, students, as well as adults and internally displaced persons. Over the year, more than 1,700 people attended the exhibition, where they had the opportunity to participate in 59 events aimed at developing awareness about emotions, stress and bullying coping skills, as well as learning self-help techniques.
At the exhibition, participants learn to recognize stress, combat bullying, apply self-help techniques, and openly talk about mental health.
The project was implemented by specialists from the Lviv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, who became facilitators of the project after special training. Exhibition participants engage in exercises, work with thematic stands and emotional zones, and also learn self-help techniques from the 'How Are You?' national mental health program platform.
This initiative emphasizes the importance of taking care of oneself and supporting mental health through open discussions about one’s emotions and feelings.
