In the Kharkiv region, the situation has escalated due to attempts by Russian troops to expand their influence in the areas around the Oskol River. The spokesperson of the Joint Forces Operation 'Kharkiv', Pavel Shamshyn, emphasized this during a television broadcast.
'Tension around Dvorichne is not decreasing. The enemy is actively trying to expand its positions west of the Oskol. Every day we observe hostilities, primarily in the areas of Dvorichne, Vilkhivka, Krasne Pervoye, Kamianka, and Stroeve', – Shamshyn said.
According to the spokesperson, Russian troops are trying to occupy new territories on the western bank of the Oskol. At the same time, the village of Lyptsy remains under Ukrainian control, where the enemy has not succeeded in its attempts to regain its positions.
Holding positions in the Vovchansk direction
Ukrainian defenders continue to steadfastly hold their ground in the Vovchansk direction, preventing the enemy from breaking their defense line. Russian troops are focusing on several strategic directions in the Kharkiv region, but Ukrainian defenders successfully repel the enemy's advance.
According to information received from Pavel Shamshyn, the situation remains tense in the territory of Dvorichne, where Russian forces are trying to strengthen their control, facing resistance from Ukrainian military. At the same time, Ukrainian defenders are successfully maintaining their positions in the Vovchansk direction, preventing the enemy from accessing their defensive lines.
