There has been an unexpected rise in demand for package tours, which were considered an outdated format just ten years ago. Instability, threats of wars, wildfires, and mass strikes are prompting tourists to seek more reliable protection from risks. According to a study, expenses of British travelers through travel agencies have been steadily increasing since 2021. In particular, bookings through travel agencies increased by 11% in May, while flight bookings rose only by 3.5%.

The main reason is the feeling of safety and guarantees. In a world where natural disasters, airline personnel strikes, and geopolitical conflicts are becoming more common, package tours offer protection. New companies are offering 'dynamic packages' where clients can combine flights and hotels themselves while still maintaining the guarantees of a package tour. Tour operators are attracting young travelers who previously favored independent travel by offering affordable prices and modern destinations.

Thus, the demand for package tours is rising worldwide as tourists seek more reliable protection from various risks associated with travel. This is due to the instability in the world caused by various disasters and conflicts, making package tours an appealing option for many travelers, providing a sense of safety and guarantees.
