Pakistan Targets Taliban in Cross-Border Airstrikes
In a significant escalation, Pakistan conducted airstrikes on multiple targets within Afghanistan, which Islamabad claims were Taliban facilities. The operation, codenamed Ghazab Lil Haq, was carried out in the early hours of February 27th. The strikes hit ammunition depots, military installations, and hideouts across several Afghan provinces, including Kabul, Kandahar, and Paktia.
