The PACE Recognized Ukraine's Right to Join NATO: What the Resolution Implies

Amendments from Ukrainian deputies have been taken into account, including the country’s right to membership in any security alliances.

The Parliamentary Assembly calls for the establishment of an International Commission and supports Ukraine's right to independently choose its foreign and security policy, including NATO membership. A decision has also been made to condemn the military education system imposed by Russia in the occupied territories of Ukraine and to support sanctions against Russia, isolate the Kremlin on the international stage, and ensure Ukraine's security.
