Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform
Participants of the summit called on everyone not to remain indifferent and to become active participants in history. They expressed gratitude for supporting Ukraine, supporting the negotiation process, and maintaining constant pressure on Russia.
The main problem is that Russia continues to violate human rights, holds occupied territories, and remains a rogue state. It is important to emphasize that borders cannot be changed by force, and war criminals must be held accountable.
The Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform urged participants: do not stand aside, do not be passive observers of history – be participants.
It is now important to support Ukraine, and I thank you for that. It is important to support the negotiation process, and I am grateful for every piece of advice and every piece of information we receive from European leaders. And it is extremely important to uphold the principles on which Europe is based – that borders cannot be changed by force; that war criminals should not escape justice; and that the aggressor must fully pay for the war it started – that is why the decision regarding Russian assets is urgent.
Participants of the Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform called for active support for Ukraine, support for the negotiation process, and demands for the accountability of Russian war criminals. They reminded that changing borders by force is unacceptable, and war criminals must be punished for their actions.
