Murder in Murovani Kurylivtsi
A domestic dispute in the village of Murovani Kurylivtsi, Vinnytsia region, turned deadly on March 14. A 43-year-old stepson fatally stabbed his 65-year-old stepfather 17 times in various parts of the body during the altercation, which occurred on private property. The victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The perpetrator fled the crime scene and hid in a forest on the outskirts of the village. However, local police and a canine unit successfully tracked and detained him. The man has been formally notified of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which covers premeditated murder.
