Ukrainian pensioners were explained how some of them would be able to receive high payments.
An important condition for receiving a pension of up to 5 minimum wages is a long officially confirmed work experience and high salaries. According to current legislation, such pensioners can not only receive their pension faster but also receive larger amounts of money monthly.
For example, if you have 42 years of confirmed work experience, you can apply for an early pension and expect an increase in payments. The calculation is made as follows: the average salary is multiplied by the service coefficient - 0.42 for 42 years of experience (1% for each year of work).
For example, if your average salary was 30,000 hryvnias, the calculation would be as follows: 30,000 x 0.42 = 12,600 hryvnias per month. This amount represents the maximum pension given this combination of salary and experience.
Additional payments and assistance for the elderly
In addition to the main payment, additional payments for the length of service are provided. The standard experience for women is 30 years, and for men - 35 years. For each additional year of experience beyond the minimum (30 years for women, 35 for men), the pension amount increases by 1%. With the current minimum at 2,500 hryvnias, each additional year of experience brings another 25 hryvnias per month.
Thus, Ukrainian pensioners who have significant official experience and high salaries can now expect larger payments - the main thing is that all experience and income are officially confirmed.
