Overview of Social Payment Funding in Ukraine
By September 8, 2023, Ukraine had allocated substantial funds toward pensions, subsidies, insurance benefits, and social assistance. Pension payments received a total of 24.7 billion hryvnias, with 3.8 billion distributed through JSC "Ukrposhta" and 20.9 billion processed via authorized banks.
In addition, 1.4 billion hryvnias were dedicated to housing subsidies and related benefits, while insurance payments amounted to 1.8 billion hryvnias, including 0.5 billion specifically for sick leave compensation. Social aid and other related disbursements totaled 6.3 billion hryvnias. During September, the Pension Fund of Ukraine provided 344,400 services to individuals seeking assistance.
