Social Payments in Ukraine as of July 6, 2023
By July 6, 2023, Ukraine had fully funded a range of social payments, including pensions, housing subsidies, insurance benefits, and various social assistance programs. A total of 19.7 billion UAH was disbursed for pensions, with 2.9 billion UAH delivered through JSC 'Ukrposhta' and 16.8 billion UAH processed via authorized banks. These efforts underscore the government's commitment to maintaining financial support for its citizens during challenging times.
Additionally, 1.3 billion UAH was allocated for housing subsidies and benefits, while 1.6 billion UAH went to insurance payouts—0.3 billion UAH of which covered sick leave compensation. Another 6.3 billion UAH was directed toward social assistance and other welfare payments. In July, the Pension Fund of Ukraine handled 246,600 service requests from individuals seeking aid.
